More About W. D. Perez-Leston

I travel because...
Not too long ago, because my job kept me from home about 3 out of every 5 nights.
Now that I have a more sedentary work (although I keep having to jump to and fro every so often), it is the thrill of knowing new places, meeting interesting people, trying other food, seing different styles,... what keeps me hanging on from airplanes and spending countless nights in rented beds.
I love to travel to...
Any place that can offer me a new perspective; from Hong Kong to the tiniest village in Southern Italy... every trip becomes a learning experience.
I never forget to pack...
My camera, my laptop, a paper notebook and a bunch of pens, a thick paperback for the airtrip and a travellers' guide of the place I'm going to be visiting so I can strongly disagree with it.
My weirdest travel habit is...
Booking the room for two even when I am certain I will be travelling alone.
Also, when the plane lands, I have the dendency of offering a prayer to the crew that flew it and, just in case, to God.
It's my dream to travel to...
Vietnam... soon.
When I'm not traveling...
Hanging out with some pals, reading or working in front of the computer while thinking of my next trip.
I also travel online at...
