About Me: Growing up as a Canadian in Tokyo, I spent the majority of my childhood travelling. Here began my endless pursuit for a traveler’s lifestyle. Although Asia, Japan in particular has been my stomping ground and favourite place to call home for years, I believe Canada is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. I was born in The Yukon Territory and have lived in five cities coast to coast across Canada.
I believe it isn’t enough to travel the world; I want to share my experiences with others! I want everyone to imagine what I have seen, from Meiji shrine in Tokyo, to the beaches of Oahu and the rain forests of Costa Rica.
My life is not completely travel. I sometimes stop to paint, surf the net, talk my dog for a walk or cook up a feast for my husband. I can be found in my current home, Toronto, working as a freelance copywriter and marketing strategist and enjoying life with my husband, a fellow travel enthusiast.
I am still on an endless search for my break into travel journalism and take time out of each day to write about something, anything, anyone, anywhere on my personal website Vagabond Poet www.vagabondpoet.com. My life is a roller coaster of culture and I settle for nothing less than exotic.
