About Me: Originally from Bolton Lancashire in England and now a long time resident and citizen of Canada. Retired Nursing instructer, Happily married many years thank goodness we both love spontaneous travel and like to hike whenever we can and wherever we are. When travelling we usually eat in places frequented by locals and have made many friends all over the world. It is a plus that we were born with " Itchy feet."

I travel because...

It is a great way to view other cultures up close. I am a dreamer who yearns to cram as much travel into this short life as I can.

I love to travel to...

Ireland, **{ my favorite} Portugal especially the north, France, { anywhere} Italy{ love Venice}, Turkey,{ have travelled the whole country. England, { where my heart is} Spain, Austria, Poland, Australia, In fact if a plane , boat or train gets me there I will go.

I never forget to pack...

My goodness the list is so long. However Passport, Camera, Money, Clorax wipes,and an upbeat attitude is top of the list.

My weirdest travel habit is...

My husband would say that I micro manage the packing. One case is better than two and just a carry on is even better. Plus, clorax wipes over surfaces I touch I never travel without them.

It's my dream to travel to...

Jerusalem, I would like to walk the holy sites and visit Bethlehem and touch the wailing wall. Vietnam also interests me.

When I'm not traveling...

I can be found sailing our sloop on the great lakes. Gardening, painting, Hiking and writing.
Love a good book especially those by great Irish Authors. Love to listen to jazz, easy listening and popular tunes.
