About Me: I am a retired police officer who went back to college and graduated in anthropology/archeology. Having a natural talent for drawing lead to a part time position a couple of months per year in Mexico under the auspices of my former professor who is a current chair at the Chicago Field Museum. I was a single mother and raised two children alone. I met the man of my dreams at 45 and we married six years ago at 52. I was told a woman had a better chance of getting struck by lightening or eaten by a shark than getting married after 45 or fifty. So hang in there single women, it does happen. I have three beautiful new adult daughters, thanks to my husband. I am also grandmother to eleven soon to be twelve grandchildren. I finally got certified as a scuba diver last summer and am going on a weeklong, live on the boat expedition in the Bay Islands off the coast of Honduras and hope to learn underwater photography/videography skills.. Needless to say, I love to travel to places with archeological or historical sites or near the water and sun.
