About Me: We take big trips a couple of times each year and several weekenders. When vacationing we tend to travel as an extended family - kids, grandparents, etc. We look for family activities as well as things to do in small groups. Because several of us work in education, we tend to travel with the rest of the herd during winter & spring breaks and summer. We try to mix favorite destinations with new destinations since we want to see as much of this world as possible. When travelling to foreign countries we want to get out into the real culture instead of blindly only seeing the "tourist" version.
