This is another famous and legendary resort along the Maui shoreline. Probably known best for the legendary Black Rock of Kaanapali and the cliff diving that happens every night at sunset. This is a spectacular event that starts with systematic lighting of the Resorts Tiki Torches all the way up the path to the top of the rock where the "warrior" throws his torch to the sea followed by a flower lei and then he, dives into the sea. The best view of this event is from the Cliff Dive Bar, one of the many dining venues onsite at this spectacular hotel resort property. There is Black rock Terrace, Black Rock Steak and Seafood, Mai Tai Bar and Link@Sheraton Lounge. They have Teppanyaki Dan which is a Japanese style restaurant where you sit around a giant grill and watch the extremely talented chef's chop, cook, flip and toss your dinner around before serving you a feast. The preparation is a show in itself and highly recommended'

The Resort is huge and sprawling with a variety of wings. Ranging from a resort view room all the way up to Deluxe Ocean View suite, the rooms are well appointed and tastefully decorated and include amenities such as internet access, coffee maker and yukata robes. The Deluxe Ocean front rooms have some of the most amazing views around. If you step back from the lanai it feels as if you are on a large ship, looking out from the back at the vast ocean - very cool!

If you absolutely need a king size bed, book yourself into the partial ocean view category as these only offer the king size option.

This resort is right on the ocean, has a fantastic pool area and features a beautiful spa. There are gift shops onsite as well as local artists. They now have a complimentary shuttle service to take you to places like the Lahaina Cannery Mall and Hilo Hattie's.
This resort is great for families, honeymooners and those planning to get married in Hawaii.
