I have been to Nepal twice with Earthbound Expeditions. On both occasions i found Rajan (manager) and all other employees of Earthbound friendly, helpful and a joy to spend time with. The first time i did a 'package' holiday for 2 weeks which included a 6 day Annapurna trek, a tour of Kathmandu and a 3 day visit to Chitwan National Park. Everyone who i dealt with was fantastic and the transition between each part of the trip was seamless. As i was travelling on my own Rajan and my guide were extremely attentive for the whole trip. The second time i went with my boyfriend and his father to do the Everest Base Camp trek. This time we all had different needs and budgets in terms of accommodation before and after the trek and Rajan was able to arrange this with ease. The guides that i have had on my two treks have both been extremely professional and from talking to fellow trekkers probably the best on the route at that time. In addition to touring Nepal, Rajan was able to put me and my boyfriend in touch with an orphanage that isn't helped by any of the big international organisations so that we could offer our services for a short time. This turned out to be one of the best things we did on our round the world trip. The reason i would highly recommend Rajan is that he always respond straight away, puts together tailored packages to suit your walking speed, accommodation requirements and timeline, and because he is based in Nepal his costs for a private tour match that of the international companies prices for a group of 18. I can't wait to go on another Rajan organised tour - Nepal is an amazing country and Earthbound is the best company to show you that.
