3 lies is 3 strikes

I called the buffet to make sure they had cannolis on the menu and they said they did. So of course I go over pay for the buffet only to find out that they don't. (First lie)
I talk to the cashier at the front desk and explain how I spoke with someone about you them having cannolis but now they don't, and the first thing he says is "it wasn't me it wasn't me." By the way I wasn't blaming or accusing him I just wanted to know why someone said they did have it and now it's gone.

So I speak with the manager who tells me that they've never served it there. I tell her I came here a year ago and you did and I just talked to thy baker at the dessert station and she says you have it but not all the time (that's 2 lies now). I tell her that the person on the phone said I had to pay for buffet to eat desserts and that they can't sell me items separately. She says they actually can sell desserts separately (3 lies now).

I tell her I'm upset about it because we came a long way for this and that's why I paid for the buffet. She then brings me back cupcake cannolis. Honestly I thought it was a nice gesture but I tell her cannolis are different from cupcakes I just want the cannoli. I could tell she doesn't care at this point and says "Do you want the cupcakes or not?

WTF. The point is they made it more like it was my fault for everything. Not once did they take blame for what happened or even offer me a credit or discounted meal or apologize.

Also when I got up to go to the dessert station they had cleaned up my table and threw away my stuff on it. I was gone about 2 minutes. When I asked about where my stuff went she said, "You left the table I thought you left, it's not my fault, what do you want from me, I'm not going to go through the trash for it." I was shocked after she told me that.
