I live in Sedona, and my friends stayed here when they came to visit. The hotel upgraded them to a creekside cottage, which was idyllic. While property is in the heart of uptown Sedona with easy walking access to lots of restaurants, shopping, and art galleries, it's several hundred feet down a small canyon and abuts Oak Creek. The setting is totally private and serene but it's within walking distance to everything you need in town (except a grocery store, which is five minutes away by car). The creedside cottages are divine -- the creek is right outside your door. The entire atmosphere is very peaceful and calm. The cottages good sized one-room affairs -- much bigger than a typical hotel room. My friends' cottage had plenty of seating inside and out on the porch, a desk, fireplace (wood), small fridge, free internet connection, and outdoor shower! The indoor bathroom was great as well -- big, new, very clean, great products. It's the kind of place where you really enjoy being in your room. It would be great for a honeymoon! The staff is very helpful and pleasant. Food is very good and the menu features seasonally fresh ingredients. There's also a spa on site, and you can get massages by the creek. Plus, there are usually classes offered, including yoga and tai chi. Overall, it's a fantastic lux experience. Totally worth it!
