My husband and I spent my birthday weekend at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. We found the rooms spectacular with a great sitting area, balcony, two flat screens as well as many more amenities. The decor is modern with a splash of art deco. A unique number of photography books are in the room for enjoyment...as an art lover this hotel had a lot to offer. The pool areas are chic and numerous with bars and restuarants near by. The restuarants are excellent with my favorite being DOCG...an italian bistro that served the best ravioli I think I have ever had. They also had a caramel dessert that was to die for!. The casino is huge and boasts a beautiful chandelier that winds to the second floor. Entertainment was great, we were there on fight night so we saw some boxing.....which I had never seen before. The clientle was the only down side as they were a young crowd with an attitude....but then they were fun to look at.
