I spent four nights at the hotel and everything was fantastic! The service was surperb from the minute a doorman opened my car door to the bellman that took my van load of suitcases and boxes to my room. While unloading, a glass jar fell out of a shopping bag that I had overpacked. To my surprise, about two hours later there was a phone message asking if a staff member could bring an item to my room. Much to my astonishment, Craig brought me the bottle of salsa that had been broken and it was exactly the same brand--Harry and Davids that had been broken, through no falt of the hotels. Now that is service.

I was at the hotel--even though Kansas City is my home--for a meeting. Throughout my stay, when I saw repeated faces of the staff, they addressed me by my name...Mrs... From the doorman to the waitstaff, all should be commended for their thoughfullness, smiling faces, their "how may I help you" attitudes and general professional attitude that reflected that they enjoy the job they were hired to do.

Plus the food was delicious, the rooms cleaan, and the prices in gift shop, restaurant, and lounge reasonable for the quality of the hotel.

Hat's off to the entire group from the general manager, the catering department, and everyone that makes the Westin "go."
