Tropical Drinks in Tiki Heads

Tiki's was yet another place I can thank my wife's friend for recommending to us. This bar/ restaurant was the perfect place to grab a snack and enjoy some drinks on their rooftop overlooking the beach.

We came here just for a snack but found the choices quite extensive. We finally decided on the Calamari Katsu which was a large calamari steak in a panko crust covered with blue crab and shrimp salsa in a lemongrass caper butter sauce. For drinks we decided to do the "tourist thing" and order some tropical drinks in Tiki Heads. I chose my usual poison; a Mai Tai while my wife went rogue and ordered a Polynesian Prince.

Our drinks arrived swiftly in their Tiki heads. My Mai Tai was quite good and strong. Liz's Polynesian Prince was to her liking since it was Champagne, rum, pineapple juice and strawberry puree some of her favorite flavors combined. Our Callamari arrived shortly after and was a decent sized portion for sharing. I really was wowed by this callamri; it was sweet, tender and the sauce rocked. If I had bread I would have soaked up every ounce of remaining sauce on the plate.

This was a delicious snack and I was surprised at how good the food and srvice was. This is definitely a return place for us.
