Musee d'Orsay

The Musee d'Orsay is a must-see if you are visiting Paris. I recommend having the museum pass as you don't have to wait in the potentially long line. Allow yourself a good 3-4 hours if you want to really see all the Orsay has to offer. Inside you'll find sculptures, paintings, and other works of art from the impressionists, post-impressionists, and a little modern and post-modern. As with all museums, sometimes pieces of the collections are loaned out to go on tour, so if there's something you REALLY want to see while there, make sure it's still housed in the Orsay.

One of my favorite sights in the Orsay is the magnificent clock. When you walk in, turn around and look up towards the entrance. The Orsay is an old train station, and you can definitely see it all around you.

Most of all, enjoy!
