Pros: The staff was very friendly and polite. The views from the top four floors were fabulous. Beautiful sunsets every evening. The free scuba class was good and we paid for a shore dive the same day which was day. Very cool dive for my first dive. Felt very comfortable with the dive master Anja. Breakfasts were great, omelets made to order at the buffet. Lunches were also very good considering its a buffet. Dinners were ok, but nothing great. The fish in the buffet was one of my favorites, I love fish. Activity staff were very fun and great people to talk to. Rooms were very big and roomy. Maid service was great. Snorkeling in front of the resort was great.Cons: Pools were cold. Bars ran out of Baileys, I like it in my coffee after dinner. LONG line at the reservation desk for the other restaurant and one would have to be in line at 7:00am or earlier to get a descent time to eat. Even when the restaurant was not busy they would not allow you in without a reservation from the morning desk person. I am not one to wait in line when on vacation. Fun Jet vacation group was suppose to set us up for a van ride around the island and they dropped the ball. We had to set it up with the cabs outside the hotel and ended up getting a better deal.Things we did that were fun: Studio Blue dive shop and did a 2 tank boat dive. Oscar was our guide and did a very good job. A+++ rating for them. Toured the island with Gilberto, our cab driver, he was wonderful, stopping at our request at various stops (bars) on the island. Go to town on Sundays or after 4:pm during the weekdays. Cruise ships flood the town prior to 4pm. Lots of things to look at downtown, shops. etc. One great bar we found was Wet Wendy's. They had the biggest and best Margaritas and Daiquiri on the island. You'll be glad you stopped. Also try Casa Mission for dinner, great food and great prices. Have fun in Cozumel...We did!
