On two occassions we 'popped' into Grizzly house for a meal. On both occassions, we stood by the till waiting for someone to come and tend to us, and on both occassions we were ignored by staff who walked straight past us and never bothered to ask if we needed any assistance or if we were there for a booking. Two members of staff were even 'fooling around' in front of us and totaly ignored us.When someone did decided to tend to us, we were told, in a very off hand and rude way, that no tables were available, even though we could see plenty of empty tables. The attitude was that of 'we are a popular restaurant and one can not just walk in to be seated' . Any restaurant that values their customers will always try to find room. This is not an upmarket restaurant with esteemed chefs. On the second occassion, we decided to wait outside for a while (20mins) to see if any of these table were occupied. Guess what. They never were during that time which ment they lost money on a meal and tips.
