Loved those turtles!

Defintely a budget hotel which is lived in by a lot of locals, but they and the staff were all friendly and caused no hassles. I had a spotlessly clean bayview room with a king-sized bed and good kitchenette facilities with a full-sized fridge. The room was surrounded by water on two sides. Very refreshing with a ceiling fan and sea breeze, though in the hot season an airconditioner would have been on my wishlist. The no-smoking rules are mostly obeyed. The free internet was usually accessible from my room although the balcony gave a stronger signal.
The bay is protected by a breakwater so the waves break gently. Great views of the bay, the cruise ships, moored sailboats, and even turtles coming to feed on the algae on the rocks just outside my window.
I learned how to use the free Hele On bus service, using either the Banyan Drive stop or the Seaside Restaurant stop. With these buses I could go downtown, to Walmart etc, or snorkeling at Richardson's Beach.
Yes, I'd happily stay here again.
