We have traveled often and far. We are in our 60s so have much experience. My husband had to go to a conference in Acapulco, and invited me along as he knew how much I'd like to go. Ever since I was a kid, I'd heard of Las Brisas, and said that if I ever went to Acapulco, I'd only stay there, or I'd rather not go. We stayed there! The hotel is not the newest or the fanciest or the most elegant of all hotels, but it was perfect. The staff, from check in to the housekeeping and maintenance staff were polite and friendly. Our privacy was kept. We had a casita overlooking Acapulco Bay and all of the resort hotels along the beach. We had a small private pool, and a gate into our little area. Breakfast was delivered in the box by the door every morning without waking us. Our pool was cleaned daily and sprinkled with flowers. When the maid came, the bed was sprinkled with flowers. It was so private, and the view so wonderful, that other than one afternoon of shopping in town, I never left our casita. My husband went to his meetings and came right back. We had every meal by room service. You'd think we were honeymooners. We spent all time on the patio or in the pool and admiring the view. We're afraid to go back, thinking there couldn't really be any place that perfect!!
