I have stayed in some mighty small hotel rooms, but I think the Best Western in Kihei on Maui was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. That's not to say that it wasn't nice, but size-wise it left little to the imagination.I stayed here for one night while I was waiting to check into a condo for the rest of my stay. The room was a double with a king bed, and the bed filled up the whole room. There was enough space between the door and the bed for a chair, and enough room at the foot of the bed to walk to the other side of the room. Cozy, as you might imagine, but as I said, it was clean and the property was well maintained, with well-lit parking areas and a very friendly staff. The hotel does have a restaurant on-site, though the prices were quite steep, so I skipped eating there and opted for breakfast at a local joint. The amenities were typical: In room coffee, fridge and microwave, and wifi available. The rooms don't have air conditioning, though they do have ceiling fans, but it can get quite warm in the middle of the day, and because the windows didn't face the ocean, it was a challenge to cool off, but for a one or two night stay this place is just fine.
