GO! Walk along the rock ledge that goes out to the ocean. Watch the dolphins playing and swimming around. Have a cold drink; watch the people catching fish; enjoy the sunshine and warm breeze. Watch the swimmers on the beach; laugh at the gulls dive-bombing into the water to gulp down a fish. It's peaceful. It's relaxing. Everyone is friendly and ready to talk if you want. People take lawn chairs and sit in the sun (or shade) and read books, enjoying the smells and sounds around them. I live here and go to the jetty every weekend just to chill out and relax for awhile. Well worth your time; you'll go back again and again. South Jetty is nice; but I prefer the North Jetty.
