Humpbacks, Orcas and Gray Whales, on my!

What an amazing whale watching experience seeing three different whale species in one trip. Our boat trip started from the beautiful sunny Victoria Inner Harbour and took us south towards the Olympic Peninsula where we came across two glorious humpback whales. It's almost scary to think they were the size of the Ocean Magic boat or bigger.
We then headed for the San Juan Island where we spotted K-Pod one of three resident orcas in the region. There were so many whales you didn't know where to look. The highlight was the baby calf, so tiny swimming directly along side it's mother. Just as I thought the afternoon couldn't get any better we stopped by Discovery Island and came across a Gray Whale feeding among the kelp. I felt so lucky! It's so incredible to view these wild creatures in their natural habitat.
