I always loved the Picassian art because i paint myself having studied good arts in France. By my arrival at the airport BARAJAS
in Madrid i had already in mind after the PRADO MUSEO to visit the
MUSEO DE ARTE REINA SOFIA. I did it some days later and i
went to admire the famous painting GUERNICA by Picasso. I spent
more than one hour admiring this painting which covers a whole wall
almost 5 by 3 m. It represents all the frightfull and fearfull events of
the war in Spain especially the war tragic events that happened in the
small city of GUERNICA. Despite the fact that it is an abstract painting anybody can understand what it represents. All the rapes, the death of the young people, the women getting frightened and all
the slaughteries. I admired this perfect work of art and on the other
side i got desapointed because any war can transform the human mind and bring madness. I went downstairs after that without pictures because it is forbidden by the guards, and i bought 2 paintings made by MUHER another great artist who lives in BARCELONA, and they are perfect having them hanged in my bedroom above my bed to remember how unlucky i was not to find
LA GUERNICA even in poster. Travel to Spain all of you and you are gonna remember me. Great trip.
