I was there as a sixteen year old senior in high school many years ago and then thirty seven years later and I was still just as awe struck as an adult as I was as a high school student. He just has a way of getting to you. Like previous posters have said his hands look like they are moving, but you know they aren't. Some people don't give him or the place the reverence it deserves and it breaks your heart that respect is lacking in people. I took my granddaughter there with her fifth grade class from Calif on a Field trip one Spring Break and 12 year olds had more respect than quite a few adults that I've seen there. To also stand on the step where Martin Luther King delivered his speech gave me goosebumps. People need to read history and think a little more of what people have sacrificed for others in this the United States of America.
