My guidebook promised "imposing views from Victoria Peak", in the 360-degree open-air observatory, especially in the summer months, so we took the Peak Tram about eight minutes to the top. The funicular, or tram, has been in use since 1888 & boasts no accidents (at least in the literature I read). That seemed impressive enough. At the top were shops and restaurants, including "Bubba Gumps". Our promised views, however, were a bit disappointing when rain & fog set in. Maybe next time...
