Wong Tai Sin Temple is dedicated to the god of the same name, whom some call upon to heal illnesses, but the gardens . . . now those are healing! Since the temple is free and the gardens request a small donation, I think most people just skip the gardens. Big mistake. The gardens meander along flower field paths, stairs and bridges leading here and there, fountains pouring, a waterfall, and even caves. There are plenty of places to just sit and take it all in, which was my husband's choice, as I chose to take every path--some of them twice. Feeling down when we arrived (only partially from jetlag), the gardens really were a bit healing.
