It was a cold night in San Francisco. Although summer was just around the corner, the chilly breeze at the wharf was enough to freeze someone, like me, who has been living in the tropics all her life. But my friends assured me that there was a good way to ward off the freezing cold (to my standards, it was already "freezing").So, off we went to Ghirardelli Square where I saw with my two eyes how they processed chocolates. It was amazing. And when my hot chocolate arrived and sipped the froth and the delectable drink, I instantly forgot about the cold. The square also provided a breathtaking view of the bay. Even in the dark, the city lights sparkled through the horizon. And, of course, Ghirardelli Square is the best place to get souvenirs and gifts to take back home to loved ones.
