I had to see the Pirate's House Restaurant. It was reported to be one of the oldest buildings in Savannah, and it was reported to be haunted as well. ( like everything in Savannah ) It did not disappoint. The food was good and the price was right. The service was good, too. I would recommend it. I have some pictures of the inside of the restaurant. Most are of the wine cellar and of the passageway under the restaurant that goes to the river. The story goes that this was a meeting place/bar of pirates and that men would go there and get drunk and get bopped on the head ( shang hai'ed) not sure if that's the spelling or not, and then dropped to the passageways under the restaurant and taken to the ship and would become slaves. The restaurant had a "spooky feel"
