Nice Resort but Theft from Rooms Appears the Norm

A group of 30 of us went to this resort for a wedding in November 2009. Four of the groups had money stolen from safe or room itself. Management refused to aknowledge any responsiblity and made coments that we had drank too much.

Talking with other visitors found that numerous other people had their money from their in room safe taken also.

One visitor told us that he came their often and never put money in the safe as he had money stolen before.

Other groups told us exactly the same stories as ours.

Also my niece awoke in middle of night and found a drunk man in her room. Apparently his room key worked in hers.

Total of 2000.00 dollars taken from our group alone. As they conviently don't have cash machines on site one must carry enough money for additional costs. You can wonder why they do not have cash machines on site. Makes you wonder who is in involved in the thefts.

My advise - Stay away.
