When our family recently took a trip to California my kids begged to go to the famous Sea World. So we did end up going! It is a great place for kids, adults, and teens to enjoy marine life. Okay so the price is pretty expensive, but its worth it! Tickets for kids 3-11 are $55 and people 10 and up are also $55. The main thing that most people will remember when they come to Sea World in San Diego are the interactive parts of the park. You can feed dolphins and pet them on the head. If you are going to participate in the feeding get there early. The line can get very long, and you can end up waiting for an hour to buy fish(like my family did) to feed the dolphins. Also, you will want to get a place around the feeding tank early because there is a limited amount of people who can actually get up close, feed, and touch the dolphins. Another interactive activity are the stingray feedings! You can actually touch and feed the stingrays(my kids REALLY enjoyed that)! There usually isn't a big long line to see the stingrays like the dolphins though. Another main attraction are the Shamu shows! Let me tell you they are a sight to see! If you are going to a Shamu show then I recommend trying to find a seat 20 minutes or so before the show starts. The reason for that is because the shows get PACKED. That's why my family and I had to sit in the "splash zone". They aren't kidding when they say that. We were soaked. My kids loved it, but me not so much. Obviously, the Seaworld in San Diego is definetely an awesome place to go.
