Unique and Fun- a Must-Do in Florence, It

Member Rating 5 out of 5 by igohegoshego on April 25, 2009

For anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind experience during their visit, this is it. We stumbled upon this place after visiting the crowded Uffizi- the "office" (an old garage) is hidden on a quiet street across from the museum's exit. Insid this garage were a bunch of restored Fiat 500 cars- each one cuter than the next. We laughed when the owner- a Brit named Sophie- told us that all the cars had names and personalities. Better still was the fact that we could go on a tour outside the city center- AWAY from tourists- and actually drive our own little car! We did the tour and loved it. Definitely worth the time and money to try this out if you are going to be in Florence (especially in the nice weather since you can drive with the sunroof open and catch a tan). Have fun!!!!!!!
