Ok, so it's not really close to EVERYTHING, but it two blocks from Union Square and a block from Muni/Bart, so you can get to everywhere from there. But whatever, location you can get everywhere. The food is what brings you in the door. I live in an Indian food backwater, so any chance I have for really good Indian, I grab on with both hands. This is the real deal. The cuisine is Northern Indian, if anyone is particular. The nan bread comes out piping hot and crispy with mint and tamarind chutney. I asked and they do have an actual tandoor oven in the kitchen. I've been here a few times and everything has been great, but I will recommend the tandoori chicken, the sag paneer and the rogan josh. These are Indian classics, but New Delhi does them so much better.
