This is my favorite Key beach. It is oceanside, very easy to walk or sit on and the water very colorful. During low tide it fun to walk way out in ankle to knee deep water. The beach and it's facilities are always clean. Whenever I have been there it has never felt overcrowded. Snorkeling tours can be scheduled. You ride out to Looe Key Reef in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Reservations are recommended. Ocean kayaks can be rented from the concession stand. The marina has boat slips rentals. Charter boats may be for hire, Tarpon fishing is the most popular. Swimming is a must - the water is awesome!
