Mud Island River Park, located in Memphis, is very unique to say the least.It actually has a replica of the lower Mississippi River which extends five blocks.Besides traveling through the River Walk,there are exhibits,displays,a gigantic museum,boating ,restaurants,and ,of course, river music! Between April and October on the second Friday of each month,the Park hosts a huge "Sleep Out on the Mississippi River".Tickets must be purchased in advance and include a tent, dinner,entertainment and all sorts of fun things to do. All you have to do is bring your own sleeping bag.
