Although the cost of the trip is now $140 for adults, it is worth every penny. The airboat ride alone through the marshes and swamps of the Everglades is unbelievable and you have the chance to see well over 100 alligators and many species of birds. The trip through the mangroves in the Everglades National Park was a lot of fun and we saw Loggerheads, Dolphins, Manatee and Sting Rays. On the wildlife drive we saw even more alligators, all basking in the sun along an old dirt road in the Big Cypress National Preserve and a boardwalk took us out to a pond in the middle of the woods where a mother alligator raises her babies. Included in the price is lunch which consisted of a grouper sandwich, fries, coleslaw, alligator appetizers, garlic rolls and a drink. The trip was fantastic and our guide who is a Florida native and a biologist was incredibly knowledgeable. We loved the trip and highly recommend it.
