I was really skeptical about seeing this show after reading the few negative reviews on this site but I had already seen "O" and took a chance. I was not disappointed. The theatre built for this performance is spectacular. Most shows of this caliber hold twice as many people but Wynn decided to make the show accessible to every guest with great seats for all. You are truly never more than 35-40 feet from the performance even at the top seats. Since it's in the round, there are 3 entrances for the performers and everyone is close to the action. The acrobatics are fantastic because they don't use harnesses, adding to the thrill of the performance. Most performers are all former Olympic athletes and have the bodies and skill to back it up. Where do synchronized swimmers and gymnasts go to after the Olympics? Now they have a place. Considering the water element, the costumes and mechanical stage flow perfectly together. The music is lovely, the comic relief is minimal and you are never bored. The show is a bit seductive in nature, aren't many dreams really like that? So, don't bring the kids unless they are on the swim team and will appreciate the athletic swimming ability needed to pull this off. The concessions are luxurious but pricey. One drink should be enough, you'll be entertained and not really want to mess with food anyway. Since they don't try to "pack em in", the lines are not long but you'll want to sit down and admire the theater for a few minutes before the show. The fabric ceiling adds a real vintage circus feel to the show, but it's not there the whole time, admire it early on. Pass on the "champagne circle", you won't have enough time to drink the whole bottle of champagne and the "behind the scenes" tv will distract you from the performance. It's interesting for a few minutes but takes away from the magic of the performance. Try to get a seat by one of the 3 water entrances. No one got wet when we went so don't worry about the front rows.
