Not that it has had to work too hard for this title but the classiest casino in Atlantic City is definitely the Borgata. When you walk in the front door you feel much more like you are in a Las Vegas casino rather than one in AC. From the stone floors to the chandeliers the casino as a whole is much more upscale. However, you pay for the ambiance if you are a gambler. For instance, if you want to find a limit on Blackjack under $25 a hand you will be hard pressed. On a weekend there is usually one $10 table and only a couple $15 tables thrown in on a weekday. The accomadations are superb. I have stayed in the regular rooms as well as the a Suite. If you do not get a casino rate or poker rate on a room they tend to be extremely expensive. The minimum posted rate is about $300 a night. However, if you sign up for a player card do not hesitate to call ahead for a deal. The rooms are all very comfortable. TV's are in a roll out cabinet. The beds are all pillow topped and refridgerators are provided in all of the rooms. I asked to be upgraded from my regular room one weekday night and I was provided with a Suite. The Suite has a huge living room with a wrap around couch and a 42 inch flat screen LCD television. The Suite has two bathrooms with the main one being a huge stand up shower and the one in the bedroom having a nice 2 person jacuzzi. The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed and its own 42 inch tv.The casino itself has many different hotspots. Two clubs- Murmur and Mixx and two other bars that are all busy every night they are open. Bottle service is available in both clubs and is not a bad deal if you are planning on drinking while you are there. You a provided with a cush private area in the club and excellent service. Overall, I would say if you are going to AC, go to the Borgata. There are a couple other high class casinos opening in Atlantic City in the next couple years but for now the class of the town is The Borgata.
