We took the boys (10-12) to the aquarium. It was not as large as I thought it would be. There are a few side rooms with some informative displays but I found that it was to crowded to enjoy (read) them. The best part of the aquarium is the moving sidewalk that takes you though glass tunnels for underwater viewing of the fish, sharks, and other marine life. There was a presentation with the stingrays, but that was overly crowded as well. At the end of the underwater viewing there is a hands on touch tank and various learning stations for the kids. Yes you guessed, it was overcrowded too. It was very loud in there. Naturally when you are finished with your visit you have to walk through a long gift shop to get out. I think it would have been more enjoyable if it was less crowded. I wouldn't ave paid to see it if it was just my husband and I, but the kids thought it was neat.
