After arriving in Perth and not really knowing my way around or anything about the city I was handed a brochure. Two Feet & a Heartbeat were regularly providing evening walking tours of the city. I went on my tour on a Tuesday evening and had the most wonderful guide. Ryan led us on out 1.5 hour journey of the city giving wonderful insight into aboriginal history, early settlement and other very interesting stories about the shaping of the city. The walk was fairly easy but I would recommend good footwear. I was really pleased that Ryan was able to answer some of my more abstract questions about the city. He also made some wonderful recommendations about other tourist attractions, places to eat, drink, dance and shop! For $25 this tour was great value. I even got a souvenir hat that I have been using to protect myself from the harsh Aussie sun. We were also given a free drink at a great pub at the end of the tour. The pub was a great place to finish up as I got to make new friends and get some good travel advice from like minded independent travelers. Two Feet & a Heartbeat walking tours is a "MUST DO" when visiting Perth.
