Mystere was the first Cirque du Soleil show to call Las Vegas home. Having read previous journal entries on Rough Guides, we had determined that this was the most traditional show and a great introduction to the Cirque du Soleil family of Performances. The show was phenomenal, including dance, traditional acrobatics and wonderful music. Each act was separated by a short comic interlude of traditional clown humor often involving the audience. Although the show started at 9:30, it was worth getting to the theater half an hour before the show. Photographers are wandering around the auditorium taking pictures of couples and groups. These pictures can be purchased after the show for approximately US$40. We purchased one as a souvenir for the experience. If you are an attention-seeker, show up 10-15 minutes before the show starts and see what happens.I definately agree with previous journals on the Rough Guides site, that this is a great introduction to Cirque du Soleil.
