Quark's Bar & Restaurant

Quark's is located in the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel to coincide with their Star Trek Experience interactive exhibit. It is Cardassian themed with a menu that consists of names like Holy Rings of Betazed (delicious onion rings, by the way) and Cardassian Creme Brulee. Their pizzas are even shaped like triangular shields. The decor is awesome. The cafe itself is best described in their website www.startrek.com, "Sit in the midst of a gigantic starfield, with lifesize spacecraft hovering above, while true-to-space details are everywhere, including a plasma plate wall." Even though it is moderately priced, I found it to be a bit pricey for being basic fare. Customers pay for the ambience of eating in a Star Trek themed restaurant, the way the food is served, and being greeted by costumed Star Trek characters such as Quark and an Andorian. Normally, since the food is of average quality for the cost, I would not recommend patronizing Quark's, but chatting with and having your photo taken with a Borg is, how do I put it, out of this world! I know..I know, it's touristy but honestly, it was as much fun for the adults in our group, as it was for the kids. I am recommending this place as a one-time experience for young and old alike.
