The Residence Inn Flagstaff sits on the Eastern edge of town across the street from a country club. Nothing is in walking distance but most things are a short drive (under 10 minutes) away.Overall, our stay here was a nice respite from being on the road everyday. We had a two bedroom unit with a living-room area in the middle and a full kitchen. The room itself was quite comfortable. We enjoyed having a separate living-room area where we could sit up and visit while our baby was asleep in the other room. We thought the free breakfast was pretty good with a wide array of choices including make your own waffles, cereal, toast, bagels and muffins, yogurt, fruit and hot items such as eggs, sausage, and potatoes. The night time manger's reception wasn't nearly as good. The first night they had hot dogs and soda, our second night was a baked potato bar with strange choices for toppings, fake nacho cheese, jalapenos, butter, and sour cream. Basically the same items they set out in the mornings to go on eggs. The pool is seasonal and wasn't open yet in late April. We did use the laundry room which was handy. The only downside was the cleanliness of our room upon check-in. We found a few hairs on the shower wall and a piece of candy bar on night stand. Bizarre. They did re-clean our room upon request and gave us a discount upon checkout to compensate. Also, the entrance to our room was kind of dirty. There was a garbage can outside between two rooms and the ground had a lot of debris on it. This could have been cleaned up a bit.Overall it worked for us.
