Our check-in required us to stop at two different desks and took a bit more time than the kids would have liked, but not too bad. We stayed in a two-bedroom deluxe and the unit was a bit older than some of the others. The cabinet doors in the kitchen opened the wrong direction and the breakfast bar seemed high. The place was clean though with plenty of space. The room dedicated to the hot tub was unique and we appreciated having it for our sore backs. The beds were really hard and my back already gets sore by itself. Our unit did have it's own washer/dryer and full kitchen. A few units away there was a playground outside which we visited quite a few times with the kids. We also used the indoor pool twice but it was difficult to keep our youngest (19 months) from being splashed by the bigger kids. There is no kids pool with the zero entry level which has worked out so well at other resorts we've visited. If you have a family with older children, I would recommend this resort. Everyone is very friendly. It's right near Grand Olde Opry which had spectacular gardens to peruse and a good shopping mall with great restaurant selections. Each day, the staff leaves messages on your phone reminding you about key activities and some more information. They have plenty of activities targeted towards teens and school age children, we just found very little our kids could do.
