Lining the sidewalks of Hollywood Boulevard are the names of all the famous stars of years past and present. You can find all your favorite stars' names there, whether they are actors, musicians, directors, or anything to do with show business. A personal favorite was seeing John Lennon's star in front of Capitol Records. Another favorite, Regis Philbin, was right in front of the Jimmy Kimmel Theatre. Be sure your camera has lots of room for photos! Overlooking Hollywood Blvd is the famous Hollywood sign. A very cool sight! Also lining Hollywood Boulevard are some unique shops and souvenir stores that you should check out. I noticed it is a great area to shop for shoes! There were a lot of stores featuring some very unusual but fashionable styles. Definitely a different experience for a Midwestern gal like me!

As I walked along from Capitol Records to the West, I came upon the Kodak Theatre and Grauman's Chinese Theatre, which are right next to each other. There were a lot of people gathered in the area taking photos with people dresses up as different characters such as Michael Jackson, Batman, Elvis, and many others. It was a fun place to be! Also a small side note about the traffic - The traffic is very slow-moving through all of L.A. so be sure and allow plenty of time for travel.
