This is the Lighthouse featured on all of those license plates, in case you were wondering. It’s now a state park, so you can come picnic here, and then check out the museum, located in the Keeper's House and operated by the Marblehead Lighthouse Historical Society. It’s open whenever the tower is open. The only way to get into the lighthouse is by guided tour. Tours are offered on summer weekdays after Memorial Day until the Friday before Labor Day. Tours led by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary are also offered on the second Saturday of the month June through October. If you want to get in, get there super early, or you’ll have to wait in a long line.
