Something I saw as a kid and was thrilled to have the opportunity to bring my own kids to see this wonderful tribute to some of our key Presidents in the history of this country. Another fond memory that didn't seem to look much different was the Crazy Horse Memorial. Maybe someday they will have enough money to finish the Indian and get to the horse! There are many different caves to go into. If I remember right, the flash from a camera helps to give off a different color from the formations. We also stopped by in the area and "panned" for gold. Didn't find too much and ended up buying a couple of little bottles with flecks of gold in them. Between all of these stops there was plenty of beauty to be seen. We found a babysitter so we could visit Deadwood at night and played blackjack at a few tables and saw the very place where Wild Bill Hickok was shot. Sturgis, famous for motorcycle rallies and such, was a pleasant stop for shopping. Overall, I loved coming back and actually seeing and doing more than I did when I was there as a kid.
