Best Things About the Resort:

Resort Experience:
There are several pools on this huge resort, along with three golf courses, a lake and beach, a driving range, and putt-putt golf. The lake has paddle boat and jet ski rentals available. The kids really enjoyed the Splash Lagoon. It had an interactive fountain that kept them entertained for quite a while plus a kid's pool, a water slide, and a zero-entry pool for older kids. Near the pool area was one of the poolside grills (both pool areas we visited had a bar/grill on-site) where a cold beer could be found! River Island was not yet open, but we intend to go back when it is (which should be later this year). River Lagoon promises to be even more fun than Splash Lagoon. A shuttle service runs the entire resort every 20 minutes, so big kids can get from place to place without hitching a ride with the adults. There are paths for roller blading, jogging, or walking, and a fitness area with machines. The West Village Pool Complex also has a playground and kid's pool and makes a great place to hang out after checkout and while waiting to head to the airport. The resort is really spectacular and a great time for families.
