Best Things Nearby:Lake Tahoe and all the beauty surrounding it. Make certain to take the drive around the entire lake. Best Things About the Resort:Good location, close to Nevada border. Facility was clean and comfortable. Resort Experience:The units are converted motel rooms. Our room had new carpeting and furniture and beautiful original photographs of the area. The lightbulbs in the lamps were low-wattage. I always bring along higher-wattage bulbs so I can do my needlework. Kitchen had everything we needed to make simple meals that didn't require a stove. The outdoor pool was heated, but only to 75 degrees -- brrr. The local pool, which charged a nominal fee, was heated to 84. Public library has free computer access on a first-come basis. Coldstone Creamery was within a mile. Good shopping nearby. Close enough to Reno to make a day trip.
