Resort Experience:
It was a beautiful place to spend a week away from home. The Plantation Resort personnel were great attending to your every need. The unit we had slept eight, and we were only four. We had three jacuzzi tubs, a four-person and two two-person tubs. The two pools (indoor heated and outdoor) were large and well kept. There was also an outdoor hot tub - 102 degrees. The patio surrounding the outdoor pool was beautifully landscaped. There was a huge children's pool and fully equipped playground. The area in general offered so much to do for all ages.

We enjoyed the many varied restaurants, including Bovine's and Devine's and a small quaint Italian restaurant called Landolfi's. The pizza at Landolfi's was very close to the pizza we have at home in New Haven, CT at Pepe's Pizzeria on Wooster Street, and the Italian homemade pastry was to die for. We thoroughly enjoyed the flea markets and brand-name shopping, and Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing were marvelous day activities - with so much to do, you needed a day at each of them to see it all. The weather was terrific - temps were between 71 and 91 for the entire week and only one late evening of rain. The beaches were clean and the water was exceptionally clean. I can't think of one negative thing to say about the resort or the area and I highly recommend it for a great vacation.
