Best Things Nearby:
In the summer, once school lets out until Labor Day, Virginia Beach has "Beach Street." There is entertainment on every block from 17th to 24th street. Plus there are main stages on 17th, 24th and 13th. Over Labor Day Weekend they have the American Music Festival. We have seen 3 Dog Night, Foreigner, Joan Jett, KC and Sunshine, Average White Band, Village People, Steppenwolf, Coasters, just to name a few. The best is that most of it is free and all you have to do is get on the trolley (buy a pass) and ride to your favorite show (one after another) for four fabulous days. However, if you can't go on this particular weekend, there are other festivals that go on at other times. Go to www.vabeach.com and see what is going on.

Best Things About the Resort:
It sits right on the beach, it is kept nicely and you can watch dolphins swim buy right from your balcony. And if you can get a jet ski, you might get lucky enough to play with one! I've seen this happen on a number of occasions, but you have to be able to ride past the main hotels, don't let them trap you in a small section. Plus each room has a whirlpool and there is a indoor pool on the 4th floor and a gym and sauna on the 3rd.

Resort Experience:
If you like music, this is the place to be. If you like to relax and and watch dolphins, this is the place to be. To me, it is a MUST-SEE!
