Resort Experience:
From the time you pull into the driveway entrance and check-in, it is a leisurly vacation. I've stayed at this resort twice already and would come back every opportunity I have. It's by far the nicest in the area! Definitely ask for a room facing the lake or you'll be looking at the parking lot or Hwy. 50. The resort is three stories with rooms that have a main door off the hall way and small entry hall dividing into side "A" and side "B." When you walk into side "A" you are in the living room, dining, and full kitchen area. All the amenities of home, although the units do not have washer/dryers. The master bedroom is spacious and large, but could use more lighting. The master bath is very large with enclosed Jacuzzi tub and double sinks. Side "B" has a mini kitchen (sink, dishes, refrigerator), hotel size bathroom with enclosed tub/shower, two queen/double bed. Three TVs in all.
The front desk personnel are extremely efficient and courteous. The conceirge could use a refresher course in people skills. The sales team is courteous, though try a number of times even after you've said "no." Restaurant is probably the one area that could use improvement. Resort activities on-site are limited, but there is so much to do off site that this is ok.
