Best Things Nearby:
Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary is a short distance from the resort. The diving is great there. Beginners will feel comfortable diving in the park. The reef shows the wear of non-experienced.

Best Things About the Resort:
The property is on Jewfish Creek and has a great marina. There is a nice pool and hot tub and a great Cuban Bar and Grill next door. It's close to the Marine Park, approximately 40 minutes to the Everglade National Park, and three hours to Key West.

Resort Experience:
The resort is an older resort, but is well kept and remodeled. The condos have a balcony that overlooks the Gulf. They are screened, so no mosquitoes or "no-see-ums." There is a drawbridge in front of the resort that has traffic constantly. At first we were worried about the noise, but it was not bad - in fact, it sounded like waves crashing! All in all, it was a pleasant resort.
